As we are taught, on Shabbat we try to become attuned to holiness in time. Temple Beth Israel offers these varied, inspiring, joyful, and soulful Shabbat worship experiences so that we can share in that holiness together. All services can be accessed both in person in the Lorge Sanctuary or via our livestream.Kabbalat Shabbat –...
Meeting with Rabbi Rachel Kaplan Marks each Shabbat morning, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, adult learners gather to read and discuss the Tanach (the Hebrew Bible). It is an open discussion of the Biblical text (in English). Regular and occasional attendees are all welcome. No prior knowledge is required.
Each Saturday we gather at 10:30 am for Shabbat morning worship and celebrate with the Bar/Bat/B'nai Mitzvah and their family. Our service includes joyous singing, private reflection, an interactive Torah reading/study, and concludes with Kiddush. Virtual experience: https://youtube.com/channel/UCL49hA3o2sm-3JPbRVdIbTw
